How to become an Elder Sponsor?

Thank you for sponsoring an elder!

Your sponsorship is an answer to prayer and helps meet basic needs so each elder may live the rest of their life in dignity. Most importantly, they will know the love of Christ which is never ending and never failing -- even in poverty.

First, select the elder or elders you would like to sponsor. Second, select which type of monthly sponsorship you prefer. Third, register for the payment method that is most convenient for you.

Types of Sponsorships

Basic Sponsorship

For $20 per month, you will provide for the basic care for an elder. This sponsorship provides weekly visits from Carolle, our Haitian ElderCare worker, delivery of monthly food stables and home repairs. You will also have the first opportunity to provide for any specific needs that the elder may have.

Medical Sponsorship
For $20 per month, you will provide for basic medical care for an elder. This sponsorship provides quarterly medical visits by Dr. Sem, needed medicines along with bi-weekly vital checks. You will also have the first opportunity to provide for any specific medical needs that the elder may have.

Meals on Wheels Sponsorship (only available for our most vulnerable elders)
For $20 per month, you will provide meal deliveries 6 days a week for one of our most vulnerable elders. These meals are the same meals that are served to the children at Grace Village, so they are nutritionally balanced.

What payment options are available for ElderCare sponsorship?

You may either pay for your sponsorship on a monthly or annual basis. If you select monthly payments, your monthly payments will be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card. If you select an annual payment, the entire amount of sponsorship will be due at the time of registration.

Will I get to know the elder I sponsor?

As an ElderCare sponsor, you will have the opportunity to get to know your sponsored elder by writing letters and sending pictures of you and your family to them. You will also receive updates about your sponsored elder through emails from the teams that visit them. You may even have the chance to meet your sponsored elder if you travel to Haiti on a short-term mission trip with Healing Haiti!
